A Carbon Peel, also called a laser carbon facial, is a non-invasive treatment. A thin layer of carbon lotion is applied to the face, and a laser is then passed over the skin. The carbon absorbs the laser light and is lifted away, taking excess oil and dead surface cells with it.
It is a popular choice for people who want fresher, smoother-looking skin with little or no downtime. The number of sessions you need depends on your skin, and our doctor will advise you at consultation.

How Does This Process Work?
- Consultation: our doctor checks your skin type and concerns to see if a Carbon Peel suits you.
- Cleansing: your face is cleansed and a thin layer of carbon lotion is applied.
- Laser passes: with protective eyewear on, the laser is moved over the skin. Most people feel only mild warmth or tingling.
- Finishing: the remaining carbon is removed, and a soothing moisturiser and sunscreen are applied.
Is It Right for You?
A Carbon Peel can suit adults with oily or combination skin, dull-looking skin or visible pores. Please tell our doctor if you are pregnant, have an active skin infection, a recent tan or sunburn, or are taking acne medicines such as isotretinoin, as the treatment may need to wait.
Mild redness for a few hours afterwards is normal. Daily sunscreen and a gentle skincare routine help you get the most from your sessions.
